Make it pretty, level, and snug. The demensions are for sloppy winding. =
If your windings are very neat, 10mm extra wire is reasonable. Remember, =
there's two nuts under it, so it won't be on the board exactly, but =
rather about 4mm high. There's a photo in the book. The electrons don't =
care, but the covers do!

K2 # 2448 is nearing completion! For T4 (binocular core), I am puzzled =

the dimenions given, for cutting and stripping the wire on the core.

If I use the dimensions in the manual the transformer will stand about a =

centimetre of the board. It looks like the dimensions need about 10mm =

off them, ie cable length from core to tip 12mm and strip 3mm of the end =
of=20
the lead.

Is this right?
