Yupp .. LDG makes some very nice products. I think trying to make the
KAT2 into a standalone tuner would be a bit pointless and futile (unless
done by Elecraft). OTOH .. I really prefer having the tuners built into
my K2 and K1: Fewer boxes, cables and batteries to deal with.
