Nicholas,
Use the frequency that you receive the internal signal on to set L34.  The
exact dial calibration may change after you get around to setting C22 and
also when aligning the filters and BFOs.  For now, if it is 500 Hz off, that
is not cause for concern.  You might want to read the manual as "the
internal signal close to 7000 kHz".
