Hi all,

I was just going to put in the rest of the low pass filter coils, when I 
noticed that I had put RFC3 in the LC16 position! (DOH) But the rig went 
through calibration stage two fine! So I put the RFC were it should be and 
have redone stage calibration to make sure.

The 'IF Amp alignment' section does not quite seem to make sense. If I tune 
the rig to 7000.5 I get the internal signal at its loudest (and when 
changing L34 the signal volume increases). But in the next step the manual 
says to put the VFO at 7000 and change L34 to get a better signal, but all 
it does with me is increase the noise (the internal signal is barely 
hearable at 7000).

Have I read the manual correctly?

Also, just to note the heatsink provided for Q22 seems to be a 10 vaned 
version which in its normal state seems sized for a T)92 sized metal can 
transistor, whilst on the board it shows an eight vane heatsink. Oh well 
never mind, a couple of pairs of pliers and it fits fine now! ;)
