I currently have (and operate) and Drake C-line, KWM-2 as well as the K2.
The Drake has a solid state AF, which is known for overheating. It is a
good receiver, but not close to the K2. The KWM-2 is also good, but
again, not as selective or quiet as the K2. The only receiver I have that
compares favorably is that in an old FT-102.
