[Elecraft] K2 Alignm.&Test, Part I, unexpected display of 160m band

Hello,
during Alignment and Test, Part I of my K2 (firmware v. 2.03d, I/O 
controller v. 1.07, S/N 3105) I did the relay test tapping the BAND +/- 
switches.
I was surprised that the 160m band is displayed (1900 kHz) additionally to 
all the other bands.
Only those parts which should be installed at this phase of construction 
are installed according to the manual rev. D (K160RX not installed).
Another observation is that the switching of the relays does not sound as 
loud (and a bit more delayed) than it did with earlier K2s I  built (S/N 
2383, 2759).

Perhaps someone on this list may give me some explanation.

Another question is: How does the K2 detect if there is a K160RX option 
present ?
