Hi Ron & the Group!
       Sorry for the confusion.  No, my finals are not frying!  I thought the 
KPA100 needed a 20 A continuous power supply.  Guess you must be correct 
about the 16 A peak. My Kenwood PS-30 power supply seems to do fine with the 
K2/100.  The heat sinks on the PS-30 get warm but not hot. Besides that, I 
have no noise on 160 meters at all.  I guess someday I may upgrade to a 
heavier power supply but for now the PS-30 does the job. Thanks for the 
feedback.
