Hi Stuart
I had an idea that it was not the best thing to do but I have had it
done on three previous trips when it was a lowly QRP battery rig.
This was the first with the amp and tuner.
It seems strange that it only happens when cold starting. The RX is
always ok.
I can't understand why it cures itself as soon as I can get a little
heat into it. It's going to take some time to isolate the temp.
sensitive area then the component in that area. It is not intermittent,
when it starts to function normally it will remain so till starting
again cold.
I'll post my findings      (if I find anything)
