[Elecraft] Spectogram: cw done, now SSB question

Well thanks to Mike and others, it's coming back to me after a year since
building the K2. I've got the cw filters setup with Spectogram and they seem
pretty good. No change in tone when I go from filter to filter, but some
change in tone when I go to cw rev - but that's OK I think.

Now I'm working on the SSB from Tom's instructions and I'm confused again. I
have setup the 500 and 2400 freq lines. Howver, if you rotate the BFO from 0
through 255, there are two places within the range (on the same filter) that
can make an image similar to Tom's pictures. For example, you might have a
similar looking graph at 165 and 250. How do I know which "range" to use?
