[Elecraft] Hint for increasing VOX sensitivity

My K2/100 is a teeny bit insensitive to the VOX. I get full output, but 
sometimes the VOX doesn't trip in when I first start talking, and 
sometimes it drops out while I'm talking. 

If it where an ordinary radio, I'd just crank up the VOX gain, but the K2 
has no such control. 

Any hints for increasing the VOX sensitivity?
