Very interesting, Dave.  My K2 is in mothballs at the moment as I am 
having to use my Kenwood TS-50S so as to be able to cover the 5MHz 
bands.  I have kept hoping that the official K2 60m transverter would 
appear, but I guess the priority has gone way down the list following 
the FCC's refusal to allocate a band in the USA.

I have been intending to try winding the K2 80m band up to 5MHz to see 
if it will work.  When all said and done, it should work up to 4MHz, 
although our band ends at 3.8MHz in the UK.
