Ron,
The BFO/PLL mod kit did not originally contain the 2.7 k resistor, which was an
oversight. It is now supplied. If you got an earlier kit that didn't include it,
use anything from 1.8 to 3.3 k. Yes, this increases range over the 10 k used in
the Rev A design.
After changing this resistor you must re-run CAL PLL (on 40 meters only,
assuming you have revision 2.0 or higher firmware).
