[Elecraft] Question RE Builder Alert #18

Trying to catch up on the applicable Mods/Fixes/etc in my K2.

Builder Alert #18 Says that resistor R19 was recently added to the
design to extend the range of the PLL reference oscillator and to
provide best tuning linearity. 

The alert says the it is applicable to "Older K2s that have been updated
with the BFO/PLL mod kit, if a value of 220 ohms was used for R19". The
alert specifies changing the value of R19 from 220 ohms to any value
between 1.8 and 3.3 k.

I recently installed the BFO/PLL mod kit in my K2. There was NO R19
included nor specified in this mod kit! I even opened up my K2 to check
and found none <G>. The instructions with my mod kit are dated November
6, 2002.

 The wording of the alert implies that all K2's should now be equipped
with an "R19" on the r-f board. 

Is this wrong? 

Was it determined that no change to the 10k value originally used in the
circuit is needed for best tuning linearity with the new PLL crystal?
