Mine seems to run low most of the time.  I once accidently set it to hi 
mode and the noise was noticable even in RX.  In fact, I thought my fan 
was defective, until I discovers the menu setting was not nor.

When it goes high in TX I am unlikely to hear it, since my power supply 
has a larger, noisier fan.
