[Elecraft] USS Kidd active for Pearl Harbor Day

USS Kidd, DD-661, was named for Rear Admiral Isaac Campbell Kidd, killed
in action on 7 December 1941 aboard his flagship USS Arizona. He was
posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his gallantry under fire that
day.

In commemoration, W5KID, aboard USS Kidd, DD-661, will be on the air with
two stations, possibly a third, Saturday Dec 7, from about 1500Z until
2300Z. Probably mostly 20 m ssb, 10 m ssb if that band is open, 15 m ssb,
potentially some 40 m and 30 m CW. Just above the lower edge of the
general phone bands and near the QRP watering holes for CW. TenTec
Jupiter and K2 #1233 should see service.
