[Elecraft] ssb argh

okay I found the two little toriod where grounding out on the two crystals
next to them and I fixed that now there is no r60 variable pot on the rf
board as the ssb instructions talk about ?????/
also when I try to adjust r1 on the ssb card nothing seems to happen

I lost here any help

okay I installed the audio filter the noise blanker and the ssb had to
remove the ssb because it was killing the audio the noise blanker and the
audio filter installed and are working fine now but the ssb when installed
mutes the audio to such a level that I can hear anything out of the speaker
except for the strongest signal such as wwv at 10000
what besides the obvious should I be looking for on the ssb or is this
typical until I a line all the filters.
