[Elecraft] painless PCBs

Sorry for non elecraft content. I know there are
a lot of homebrewer types (and aspiring HBs) here
who will appreciate the tip.

Some of the "dream" requests being made of Wayne and
Eric would make good "true" homebrew projects. The
feeling you get when your kit-built project works well
and looks good can be surpassed when YOU designed it.

One of the things that makes the elecraft kits so
"clean" is the circit boards.

I HATE etching and drilling PCBs...and after all
that pain, I have never been pleased with my
results. I had given up, and reverted to manhatten
style construction, which meant I didn't start
a project if it really cried out for a board.
Finding out about ExpressPCB was a revelation.

Best part for me is the free and easy-to-use
software they provide, as well as quick and cheap
turnaround on small runs. No they do not work for
free...shop around if you don't agree that the prices
are excellent.

My only connection with this company is as a very
satisfied customer...I've dealt with them several
times over the last 4 years, No screw-ups, all orders have
showed up on time or a day early. No flaws found on
any of the boards....a company in elecraft's league
in my experience. The schematic capture is a feature
new to the latest release of software, which I have not
had a chance to try yet. If it as easy to pick up as
the layout part was, one of my wishes has been answered.
