I invited him in and showed him around.  He is working on his tech license and
we talked about learning the code, the local radio club, etc.  When he saw my
station, he didn't even look at the TS850 or the 800-watt linear -- he said
"Wow, a K2!  With the 100-watt amp!"

He had built a Tentec 2 meter kit and was already looking forward to upgrading
so he could build a K2.
