Tim,

The AT11MP "autotune" feature only works if you have a way of telling the
tuner that your radio was put in tune mode.  My first HF station was an
Alinco DX70 and an AT11MP.  There was a cord that went between the two
that allowed the DX70 to initiate the tune function on the AT11MP.

So, no - This isn't an SGC.  You have to press a button, be it on the rig
if you have the appropriate interface between the rig and tuner, or on the
AT11MP itself.
