[Elecraft] NZ7C: K2/100 & LGD MP-11 questions

Ken and all - 

I suppose it's because I don't understand the relationship between rigs
and tuners. For example, before I sold my Omni V, all I had to do was
plug it into the tuner and it would automatically activate the tuner as
soonas I hit tune on the Omni. The Omni was replaced with an Icom
756PRO. The Pro requires a special connection made by LDG before the
Icom can work properly with the LDG. So it's not really a question of
something necessarily being wrong with the K2/100 - it's a question of
knowing what we should expect to happen when the K2 is connected to one
of the more common tuners.  Hope that made my question a little more
