What you have to be careful of is the focal length. The higher the
magnification, the shorter the focal length. For example, their #10
lense plate is a 3-1/2 magnification but the focal length is only
4-inches. Kind of difficult to use a soldering iron when the lense has
to be 4-inches from the work in order to be in focus. I settled on a
#3 lense plate which is 1-3/4 magnification with a focal length of
14-inches. Purchase the LP-1 OptiLoupe which is an extra lense you can
flip down over one eye for those times you need a higer magnification
to read component values, etc.
