[Elecraft] Some mod questions

1. Does the mod for improving TX efficiency at 5W power levels
(different number of turns on PA output transformer as per K2 manual)
have any consequences other than lower efficiency at 10 W? 
There have been postings on this group warning against higher intermod
when running 10 W PEP on SSB for instance. Is this true?

2. Wayne indicated some time ago (see mail below) that he would have
liked to have R1 a pot in order to set the AGC threshold. What would be
the procedure for adjusting this pot?

I have just updated my K2 modifications page on

- more on varying the AGC threshold
- more preamp gain
- Removal of RF board C180 (CW part of 2nd X-tal flattening mod)
- VFO ALC and 10 m BP mods
- Direct charging of KBT2 battery without extra connector or series
diode
- KSB2: Increased RF gain and reduced intermod
- KSB2: Crystal filter bandwidth mods
- KSB2: High level audio input
