[Elecraft] FAQ Structure

Hi

The builder resource area is good and there is a lot of information there=
, but what I have in mind is a place a K2 owner could go to get answers t=
o the very common questions. Going back through the archives and look for=
the questions that are asked 5, 10 or 20 times and put the answer in a F=
AQ file either in its own area or on the builder resource page. Your idea=
is good also but not exactly what I had in mind. Maybe both ideas need t=
o be there. Just remember we don't want to try to replace the manual with=
a web page. This should be information not in the manual.

Subject: [Elecraft] FAQ Structure

There is already a "Builder's Resource" area ont he =20
Elecraft web page. This page is getting a bit crowded.

Ideally, it may be time to structure current and future =20
web links and documents around the "life cycle" of the =20
kit-builder. FAQ could be included in each section.

Kit Building 101 (aka "The Art of KitBuilding", What is =20
involved)
Preparation for Building (Order, Tools, Workbench)
Builder Resource (Actual kit building phase)
Check-out, testing and troubleshooting
Putting it on the Air (Initial setup, accessories)
Adding personality ("customizations")
