Sounds like you are using the wrong screw. This should be a 3/8 in screw =
and should have plenty of thread.

Again in the cause of cautious building: on page 16 of K2 manual the volt=

regulators U4, U5,  by the time I add a washer there isn't enough thread
showing to apply the nut!  The mounting tabs are metal.  I've tried for o=

30 minutes, neither will accept the nut with the washer in place.  I thin=

I'll just hit the hardware store and get a pair of screws a couple of mm
longer and put myself out of misery. Other ideas?  Tnx....I just want thi=

baby to fire up the first time  :)
