All,

Well I have compared my internal K2 speaker to a KES-3 4 ohm 5 watt mobile
speaker (this is what I keep connected most of the time) as it is better
than the internal speaker. I also have another speaker, a Yaesu large
external SP-8 that is connected to my FT-1000MP.  However, when this is
connected to the K2 the sound is just GREAT and plenty loud enough for the
room.  However since I use headphones most of the time (Sony MDRV-6) this
set up does not get invoked unless I'm just listening to one of the nets and
typing emails (like now).  Your mileage may vary, void where prohibited,
taxed, etc.
