My normal RX current reading including KIO2/KAT2 and other options, RX
in performance mode, S-meter in dot mode and just band noise at low
output is 260 to 280mA. During the initial tests of the KPA100 I
observed the same as David, approximately 360mA indicated. I was not
particularly perturbed, everything else checked out OK so I pressed on.
Now have reached the stage of soldering down the output transistors.
Time will tell I guess.
