Subject: [Elecraft] The Good Olde Days

To all that are reminescing about the good old days,
  Tnx fer reminding me. My Dad owned a T.V./Radio shop for over 30 years. He worked for a large retailer, but had a dream to have his own business. He did it. He is also a ham, but not very active anymore (he's 75). He was my Elmer. He built and tore apart more rigs....anyhow he got me into hamming at age 10. Off and on. I'm still here and enjoying it more and more. I built my K1 with a Weller "gun" (just kidding)... shudder, shudder! Tubes..oh yeah..smell of burning flesh...Whoops, I dropped that one and it broke like an Easter egg....Tnx you guys at Elecraft...no more of that !
