[Elecraft] Why not trim relay leads?

We had trouble with the tiny crystal holder too!  Don't recall the "HC" number, 
but just like the HC-6/U but smaller with wire leads...very common.  If you trimmed
the leads BEFORE soldering them to a PC board, you ran a risk of fracturing the
crystal blank from the vibration of cutting them!  You had to solder them on
the board FIRST, them clip off the excess lead!
I donno if this would work on the relays or not as it's hard to see insdie
of one without destroying one to find out what the construction is like!
