Hello to everyone,

Dave, AB9CA and I, AJ4AY will be operating maritime mobile (MM) during the
QRPTTF contest tomorrow.

We have been given permission to operate from the deck of the LST-325 which
is moored just north of Mobile.   This is the vessel that the navy veterans
brought from Europe to the US in late 2000 and early 2001.  They are an
amazing group of gentlemen and durn fine seamen.

We should be operational from 1100 CDT (give or take) until 1700 or so CDT
(depending on breaks, etc.).  Rigs will include an SW40 and a K2.  Antennas
will be a deck mounted vertical and a couple end fed long wires.  Dave and I
will be swapping between radios/antennas to give us both an opportunity to
work as many of you as we can on all bands.  Whoever is using the K2 will
give 10 meters a try at the top of each hour and stay there as long as we
can copy anyone.
