[Elecraft] K2 # 2537: L33 question

Assembly of K2 # 2537 is progressing smoothly. I have
come to the point where I have wound the 40 turns on
the red/yellow core to fabricate L33, and am about to
wind the 3 turns on each lead that overlaps the other
windings.

The manual indicates I wind 3 turns. According to the
convention, that means 3 passes through the core. If
you look at the meticulously detailed drawing of L33 on
page 55, it looks to me like 4 turns are wound. The
instructions make a point of saying that while you
actually wind 40 turns, only 28 are shown. The manual
does not indicate any inaccuracy regarding the "overlap"
turns.

My question: Do I wind 3 turns according to the already
established convention, or do I wind what appears to be 4
turns from the picture? I just want to make certain I get this
right the first time.

Thanks in advance, ladies and gentlemen for your advice
and understanding.

73,

Bob WA4FOM
