[Elecraft] Transmit frequency shift

IF you transmit frequency is actually drifting while you are making a
single transmission during CW mode, you are probably experiencing a
problem that turns up very rarely in the K2 frequency encoder circuit.
It happens ONLY when the tuning knob happens to be set exactly to a
critical point so that as you key the rig the frequency control circuit
thinks that you are turning the tuning knob and it will make the
frequency shift. You will also see the frequency shown on the display
change too.

IF this is what is happening, check the Elecraft reflector for the "fix"
or write Elecraft Support for the modification needed. Wayne Burdick
sent it out in an e-mail a few weeks ago, but I don't know if it has
been posted to the web site under "Builder's Resources" yet.

You can find the fix for the frequency shift during transmit due to
walking VFO as the second entry on http://www.qsl.net/la3za/K2/mod.html
