I agree with Ron, ZL1TW, it's a GREAT little Radio with equal emphasis on
"great" and "little".
The K2 reminds me of a Japanese car I had in the 1970's. It worked GREAT,
was very reliable, very well designed and built, an excellent value, and it
was built for someone about HALF of my size!
Going anywhere involved more of "putting the car on to wear it" than
"getting into it".
The front panel of the K2 with its tiny, close-spaced controls feels that
way to me.
Now if the case were turned on edge so the "top" of the rig was the "front
panel" it would accommodate controls better suited to this operator's hands
and more of them. Also, it would take up a lot less 'depth' on the operating
desk. A little weight in the bottom, or some extension legs to the rear
would give it a solid feel.
