[Elecraft] K2 s/n 1073

Hello all,

I have made the final addition to K2 s/n 1073, unless the great people at
Elecraft come up with a new goodie that I can't live without.  The AUX IO
boards are complete, installed and fully operational.

This last couple of years with my Elecraft toys have really been a FUN time
for me.  My K2 and all options worked the first time.  I believe that has
been brought about by good design, good engineering, and quality parts more
than my "radioing" abilities.

The K2 still amazes me.  I got into the MW test primarily to give out
points, and only did that on the last day.  After making a 1 watt contact
(that is QRPp for me) with a 100mw station, I turned the K2 down as low as
it would go and still see some output.  I was still able to work FL, ME, OH,
and WI with ease.  The real joy came when I heard Jim AL7FS on 10 meters.  I
called him at 200mw and he heard me.  Even though I went to 2 watts to
complete the exchange, it is still another QRP state for me.  That makes 49
states for 2X QRP WAS.  Thanks Jim.  The SASE is in the mail.
