[Elecraft] K2 doesn't hear 7.000 MHz birdie

I've reached the point in the second alignment of peaking
L34 while listening to the 7.000 birdie.  However, I'm not
hearing anything.  The K2 can hear my other rig going into a
dummy load, but very weakly.

Everything else in the alignment proceedure went perfectly
and I was feeling like a pretty good builder, but now am
stumped.  Suggestions?
