[EIDXA] Burying ground radials

I'd like to take advantage of the soft spring ground to bury some ground radials for my vertical. Does anyone have a tool or method to recommend for this process?

In the past I have used a flat shovel to make slots 6-8" per cut to bury the wire 1-2" deep, which should be enough. But that's a slow process.

I only have about 24 radials 20-30ft long to bury. May put down a second set for a future antenna.
