[EIDXA] How hard is it to find a clock?

Bob,

At least in town, we had power.  It came out of little sockets you could plug your cord into.  Simple, just two pins and as I remember they were the same size.  None of adding a third pin or worrying which side was hot—no sissy’s back in the olden age in Wyoming.

PS:  In the 50s when I got on the air, there were people on our street that did not have an electric refrigerator.  A man in an Ice Truck would drive around every day, grab a huge chuck of ice, sling it over their shoulder and haul it to the kitchen.  We called them the ice-men.  All I remember is that they had big arms.

I keep a regular 12 hour clock in the shack to tell what time it is.  An 
analog clock is terrible for ham use like logging.  It just leads to 
confusion.  It is much easier to just write down the numbers.  Unless you 
have some use that I don't understand, I would go digital.  My opinion is 
bases on a lot of experience.   In my beginning, 59 years 10 months ago, 
analog is all we could get in a clock.  I was never so happy to get rid of 
that and go digital.

Yes, it's for the shack.  I can find digital atomic clocks that will do UTC,
but I can't find one with hands.

I assume this is not for ham radio!  Analog clocks are useful, IMHO.

I'm looking for an analog wall clock (with hands) that will sync with the
WWV and has UTC as a timezone option.  I've been looking on and off for
months.  I can find 2 of the 3 features I need, but I can't find all 3.



Has ANYONE seen one of these?  Have one?  Know someone whose brother's best
friend's uncle's neighbor has one?
