[EIDXA] Possible ban on cell phones while driving

I understand from my state representative that there is legislation being
constructed in this session that would ban use of cell phones while driving
a motor vehicle. Whether or not the bill passes and becomes law,  The
present wording (as of Jan 15) has been broadened to include mobile radio
use my amateur radio operators, either by handi-talkie or otherwise.   I
encourage members of the EIDXA to contact their respective state senators
and ask them to clarify the wording to use only "cell phones" in the bill,
or specifically exempt federally licensed radio amateurs as well as other
emergency vehicles, etc.
