[EIDXA] HF-9

K0JGH and I attended a local legislative forum this morning (2/7)and the 
representative from my district said that HF-9 was dead.  We still took 
the time to describe the problems with the " and other wireless 
communication devices" clause which affect not only amateur radio but 
police, fire, ambulance, UPS, taxi, utility, etc communications.   From 
the discussions this morning, it sounds like they more than have their 
plates full with the gas tax proposal, balancing the state budget, and 
trying to do their part in stimulating job creation.   That said, the 
bill still bears watching especially late in the session.   Things like 
this often get voted on at midnight some night when they don't think
