Another contest scoring proposal:
Award " EIDXA " points to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc places based
on how many points each ham scores in the contest (and reports).
            sample "EIDXA"  scale
1st place..............1,000,000
2nd.........................600,000
3rd..........................400,000
4th...........................250,000
5---8th.....................100,000
9---15th.....................50,000
16---30th...................25,000
I think this would make it worth while to enter a contest and try for
2nd or 3rd EIDXA place even if you can't score 2, 3, 4 million contest
points.
There could be categories for super station, tri-band, QRP, etc.
