[EICO] Eico 723

I recently acquired a 723. Now I would bet that none of
you ever heard that opening before HI !.

I would like to restore it. The front plate is jsut so
full of some sort of gunk. I removed it from teh
chassis, tried to clean it with simple green, paint
thinner, and also ran it in the DW. Nothing seems to 
bring it back to life. I have no idea what was smeared
on it.
Is there anyone out there who silk screens these panels
to be like new?.

The chassis of course like most of them is all
corroded. I have thought of just removing all the
hardware and remove all the wire as one bundle, as much
as possible. Then have the the chassis replated, I
wonder if this si the right approach. I would then re
attach the wiring, and as I do so, woudl then recap it,
resisistors disks etc as needed.

I would appreciate any input. The Eico 723 was my first
rig I ever owned in 1964.
