 Neal,

It appears that IF the user has a Windows 8.0/8.1 that he UPGRADED to Windows 10 -
then the OLD method of modifying the reg file is STILL relevant..

It would appear (from your words) that IF the user has a PURE Windows 10 computer
(not upgraded computer) - that you new words are relevant?

Ken,

So you did have to add the Wow6432Node segment to the key? Interesting!

The help problem is not going to be fixed until the next release of DXBase. Sri!

Hi Neal and Joe,

I?ve made the change you suggested in the first line. By itself, changing the REGEDIT4 line didn?t solve the problem. However, when I also added the Wow6432Node segment to HKEYLOCAL_MACHINE I met with success. Thanks to both of you for your help.

The issue I have now is that the Help file won?t come up. When I click on help I am sent to Microsoft support for ?Help not supported.? There is no help there for Windows 10 and using the Win8.1 WinHlp32.exe for x64-based versions of Windows 8.1 generates a wrong version message.
