[Dxbase] Windows 7 Question

I recently bought a new HP Desktop with Win 8.  I made a huge mistake. 
It won't run DXBase or my Kachina radio.  I'm actually going to take my
XP Drive from this machine and replace the 1TB Win 8 drive.
What a POS!
