That sounds very encouraging.  However when I looked at the command structure for that radio I could not find any command to read that status of 'dual watch'.  Split yes, Dual Watch no.  Of course the docs could be incomplete and maybe it responds with the information for which ever one is active.

Here is what I would like you to test:  Manually set dual watch, and then listen up 5 or 10.  Now read the radio and see if it gets information which will cause a spot to be generated with as frequency, the dx stations frequency, and includes the info 'qsx up 5' or words of similar import.  If so, that is really great.

Now, this is not as easy, find a spot on the net which includes 'qsx up 10' and see if clicking on that spot will you radio go into dual watch with the receive side up 10.  If so perfect!


Dual watch is much superior to split in my view.
