Yea Joe!!!  Just tried the new radios.ini with my 7600 and it now works great!  Thanks a bunch for your interest in fixing this long time defect in the radios.ini file and thanks too to all those who pitched in to help get the solution.  Wish I could have been more help myself.

  Well, to say the least, this has been ONE BIG challenge!!   But, with the HELP of
  three DXbase users (W8VI - Gary; NZ6E - Greg; and KE4WY - Jim) we have NOW,
  finally been successful in making the Radios.ini file entries for these ICOM Radios to
  WORK properly for SPLIT operations and proper logging to DXbase .. 

  The ICOM 7600 (with the latest firmware update)
  The ICOM 7700 (with the latest firmware update)
  The ICOM 7800 (with the latest firmware update)

  and the newer radios of:

  ICOM 9100 and ICOM 7410 


  To all users of the above mentioned Radios -- I have posted a ZIP file to my
  website, with the FULL Radios.ini file (my version) that includes the latest updates
  for these 5 ICOM rigs.

  The older ICOM radios STILL can not  READ the SPLIT status -- so, no modifications
  were made to their ini file entries ... but, for the newer rigs - SUCCESS at LAST!!!


  MY "hat is truely tipped" for the superb help that Gary, Greg, and Jim provided -- because
  without their help -- this could NOT have been done !!!!
