[Dxbase] Joe wa6axe - programs that will not run without dao350.dll on your computer

ALL:

I have been researching what ALL programs I have made that will simply NOT RUN
if you (by chance) do not have  dao350.dll  ... so, if one of these programs fails to
run -- check for the possible missing dao350.dll  file ::

(1) autolotw254.exe   (Joe's standalone - AutoLOTW program)

(2) chkmdbs.exe (Joe's standalone - Refdata/Logbook Analyzer and Updater program)

(3) LoTWStats_DXb2007.exe (Joe's standalone - LOTW Statistics program)

(4) Dxbutility.exe (Old version from ver 1.07 and before)  (DXBase's Utility program :: Database ICON :: Compact/Repair buttons)



Background:

With DXbase2007 version 1.07 and BEFORE -- the installer installed BOTH dao350.dll and dao360.dll .. But, with
the current version 1.09 of DXbase2007 - ONLY dxb360.dll is installed ... So, if you have a computer that DXbase2007
version 1.07 or before has never been installed on -- then the chance is there that you do not have the 
dao350.dll file on that computer..


This  dao350.dll file is available on the internet (good ol' google search will find a copy of it) ..

But, just FYI -- if any of the above files fail to run -- simply check your


Program Files(x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\DAO     (VISTA or Windows 7 machine)

or

Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\DAO  (XP machine)


directory for the dao350.dll file -- or just do a SEARCH of the computer for that filename ...
