[Dxbase] M/callsign - What's With This?

Here is another thought on this subject.

Some DX call signs are re used by other people. The confusion is the dates and who is the QSL manager. Portable usage clears this situation up.

Still Portable not being used causes confusion for county hunters, and people working on WAS. If WA9YSD/MICH is used I guess this would be clear enough that the station is in Michigan and not Wisconsin. As for the logging program, it does not know what to do with this. I would be up to the station that needs Michigan to drop the /MICH and enter the state manually in the log.

This is just a no win situation no matter what way you look at it.
