Joe,
I don't know what has caused your exit from the DXBase team, but
I am positive your efforts will be greatly missed. From my
personal perspective, I think you have done a lot to hold
together the DXBase "user base," over the last 2 or 3 years, with
your continued development of "high value added" reporting tools
for DXBase. Your reporting tools have helped me with DX award
tracking/submissions- like CQ-Marathon etc; understanding my
station performance through the use of Map-Pin-Lists to see where
I work, and don't, on a broad geographical basis - by band -
(DXAtlas); and helped me with operating programs like AXETTY. I
am confident that many DXBase users will seriously miss your high
value added contributions (Neal - make a note of a big loss to
the user community).

Neal, I certainly hope all of Joe's tools will be operable with
the new release of DXBase, since Joe won't be available to
migrate those tools to the new release of DXBase. The loss of all
of those tools would weigh heavily on the overall functionality
of DXBase for me.

Joe, I wish you good DX and best 73,
Merle - W0EWM
