This poll here on the list is going to be more than slightly biases.  I'll bet 99% of the people on the list have broadband

I know I visit a lot of friends "upstate" who just don't have broadband access!  They don't do mailing lists, and when they DO do HF from their QTH, they either run with no cluster, or they log into the remaining VHF cluster up there
