Thats Bs too... I quit paying for the upgrades simply because i thought i was getting screwed for nothing more than an updated country database..
I do have 2007 and as long as it runs on vista and windows 7 im pretty sure im set till I die.. I have to be cautious saying that though as ive already experienced death :)...
As for the other guy thats tired of deleting emails . There is an unsubscribe link.. :)

Ps: Jack really pissed me off years ago by refusing to work with me with my Icom 735 telling me it was too old and i needed a new rig.. Money doesnt grow on trees. Id come to DxBase from Logic simply because I found Logic too rich in features and price. I guess I pissed and moaned enuff and we got the 735 working and I never looked back but It wasnt a great deal at the start.. Ill just run 2007 till i cant run it anymore as I no longer have a job and cant find one (yup the money thing again ) and im not a cheap Ham I just know when to save my bucks.

Subject: [Dxbase] a circle of regret?
I am mildly amused by the comments from the 'faithful fans' of Dxbase now
that Jack has closed his web site and discontinued sales of Dxbase 2007.
Which fans? , oh, the ones who are using, by their own admissions, OLD
versions from 2000, 2001, 2002 etc through 2006. Maybe if they had been
actually purchasing NEW versions, as have some of us, each year, a different
business decision could have been reached.
But, as is said, that's just my opinion, your mileage may vary.
Larry,
W4RA
