[Dxbase] DXBase 2006 installation, Vista SP1, MFC Application does not work any more.

Hi Gaston,

I have DXB2006 installed under Vista Home Premium and did not experience the 
problem you are having.  I installed the program under C:\Program 
Files\Scientific Solutions\DXbase 2006 without a problem.  I have User 
Account Control turned on and I was logged in as the Administrator for the 
installation.  Since you are trying to install DXB2006 I assume you have a 
CD and are not doing a download from the DXB website.  I think your problem 
is related to Vista and it's insistence on account permissions.  Make sure 
you have created an Administrator account and then log in on that account 
for the install.  As a last resort, go to the Control Panel and turn UAC off 
and see if that makes a difference.  I assure you DXB2006 does install and 
run under Vista.  Good luck.
